traceroute bad.horse should do something rather silly. Thanks to ISPs blocking traceroute ICMP requests, and corporate networking appliances not getting it right, this silliness may not be available. This is not a good thing. While it's not quite as nifty as actually executing the command from your OS X/Linux box, here's what you'd see if you ran it from a machine where all the upstream and downstream routers were configured properly:
